Tour Philosophy
To protect the privacy of our guests while using Sanook Spa, we limit the number of guests we tour through our facility. As we are inundated with requests, please know the following criteria apply to all our guests:An appointment should be made for Hotel guests' and the general public wishing to tour the spa. The guest will be escorted by a therapist to view the reception, relaxation lounge, locker area and swimming pool. Unfortunately guests are not permitted to tour the men's and women's treatment areas due to protection of privacy when using our facility.
Assistance with Making an Appointment
The spa team can advise you on the best treatment for your specific needs and preferences.You will require a credit card in order to guarantee any treatments you have booked along with a contact telephone number or room number so that we can call you the day before your appointments to confirm your schedule with us.
Customer Requests
Guests can request a specific therapist when making your appointment, however we cannot guarantee their availability. All our spa therapists are trained to the highest standard and respect the privacy of our guests encouraging a comfortable relaxing environment for all.
Health Problems and Comfort Level
Prior to booking treatments please notify the receptionist dealing with your booking if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, any physical ailments, or disabilities. This will prepare our therapists in advance to provide the best possible Spa treatment or therapy for you. When receiving your treatment the therapist will address your needs based on your client record card that you will be asked to fill in on arrival. They will speak to you about the temperature, pressure, music, product, and sequence of events during the treatment they are providing.
What to wear during a treatment
All our guests should remain robed in the public areas of Sanook Spa. All male clients are requested to keep their undergarments on during a body treatment or massage. If required, disposable undergarments are available for any client who prefers these. Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy. All guests are required to take a shower prior to their treatment. We will provide a locker, robe and slippers for your convenience.
Guest Timelines
We ask that you arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment time, in order to benefit from an enjoyable treatment. Arriving late may interfere with your treatment time. All appointments will end at their scheduled time, so that the next guest is not delayed or inconvenienced in any way.
Shaving
Shaving is not recommended before a body treatment or men's facial. If you choose to shave, please shave at least four hours prior to your treatment.
Spa Payment Terms
If you are a resident hotel guest with the Courthouse Hotel, use of the gym and swimming pool is complimentary. If you have posted a credit card to your room, this will allow you to charge any treatments that you might have to your room. We accept all major credit cards, cash and gift certificates purchased through the hotel. Gratuities are not included with any of our spa treatments and are at your discretion.
