Get 'Locked up in Love' at the Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton
Wine and dine your love at Soho's quirkiest luxury hotel this Valentine's Day
Love may be the tie that binds, but a fabulous private dinner in a VIP ‘jail-cell’ may be the perfect way to ‘lock in’ the sentiment. The Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton, a former magistrate's court reinvented as a luxurious 5-star hotel, is playing up its colourful history this Valentine's Day, by offering some very unique dining experiences that make for an unforgettable date.
The hotel is offering a chance to get ‘Locked up in Love’ in one of three original VIP jail-cells which are a quirky focal point of The Bar. This exclusive private dining package, which is £300 per couple, includes a welcome ‘love bite’ cocktail, followed by a sumptuous 5-course Valentines themed meal, accompanied by a bottle of chilled champagne. To ensure complete privacy and personal service, a limit of three packages per evening are available.
For a more exotic gourmet dining destination, Michelin recommended Silk restaurant will serve a delicious 5-course tasting menu inspired by the cuisine of the Silk route. Historically known as courtroom number 1, the cosy and ultimately romantic restaurant still features the English-Oak paneling and original fixtures from its former use. The Valentine's Day menu includes a glass of champagne and is £55 per person.
Keeping things casual, The Carnaby brasserie is a great option for pre-theatre dinners, and will feature a 4-course menu accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine for £40 per person. Otherwise do away with dinner altogether and opt for a chef's selection of Love Bites (Canapes) along with a glass of champagne each for £25 per couple, served in The Bar.
For flexible celebrations over Valentine's weekend, all of the above dining packages are valid on 12, 13, and 14 February. Bookings are advised. Please call 0207 297 5555 or email vineet.soni@courthouse-hotel.com
