Tucked away in an elegant dining room just off the hotel lobby, Silk restaurant in London is the culinary and architectural focal point of the Courthouse Hotel, boasting a history as rich and colourful as its delicious menu. 

The combination of Silk’s classic courtroom setting and innovative International cuisine, offers a London fine-dining restaurant experience with unique appeal, quite unlike any other venue in central London in terms of ambience.

Lit by a stunning vaulted glass ceiling and framed in English Oak panelling, the vibrant eatery features the original judge’s bench, dock and witness stand from its days as the Great Marlborough Street Magistrates Court, which witnessed the trials of Oscar Wilde, Mick Jagger and John Lennon. Now a destination for more culinary pursuits, the restaurants’ past has been superbly incorporated to create a charming, romantic dining venue.

The flavours and themes of the menu are constantly fresh and exciting, promising a sensational dining experience on every occasion. Diners have the option of a-la-carte cuisine, a three-course set menu, ideal for pre and post theatre meals or a range of enticing degustation menus ranging from three to five courses, which must be booked in advance.

Silk is a magnificent venue for civil wedding ceremonies and reception dinners, offering an intimate antique setting for the exchanging of vows, whether by daylight or candlelight, and stylish functions, events and private dining in the West End can also be accommodated.

Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm till 10.30pm

Afternoon Tea served from 13:00 to 17:00 (last sitting) in Soho Wala

Since launching in November 2018, Soho Wala has developed an enviably delicious stature as Central London’s hub for authentic and unforgettable Indian street food cuisine.

Built up of delectable small plates, such as the moreish Pani puri wala and the outrageous Mirchi matchstick chicken, the menu offers a superb dining experience, directly opposite the legendary Carnaby Street and adjacent to the beautiful Courthouse Hotel Soho.

Head Chef Rajesh Parmar continues to create sumptuous delights, perfect for sharing, that bring the spirit and flavours of the Indian market place to Soho, all of which can be enjoyed within the elegant and intimate setting, designed especially for group dining in a warm and always-welcoming atmosphere.

With a focus on fresh ingredients and singular dishes, Soho Wala has become known for its cutting edge take on traditional classics; the Indian Afternoon Tea, bursting with delights including Coriander & mint chutney in brioche buns and Tandoori chicken morsels with fresh spinach has become a firm favourite, while the legendary Momos (Indian steamed dumplings) and their host of incredible vegan options, prove their status as one of the city’s more innovative Indian eateries.

Ideally positioned for a midweek-lunch, a pitstop after a shopping spree or the perfect locale for an after-work gathering, Soho Wala stands as a staple of contemporary dining in Central London.

Standing iconic and legendary at the top of Soho's Carnaby Street, the Courthouse Hotel continues to set the standard for experiencing London in luxury, with the stylish Toy Roof.

Toy Roof provides premium customer service, quality food and a luxurious atmosphere at the heart of the city.

With a capacity for up to 80 people standing and 60 sitting, Toy Roof regularly plays host to corporate events and private parties. 

The Terrace facilities include the following:-

  • Modern outdoor furniture
  • Patio heaters
  • Small kitchen
  • Portable BBQ
  • Capacity for up to 80 people (standing)
  • Capacity for up to 60 (seated)

Group bookings of 10 guests or more
Reservations are permitted for group bookings of 10 or more people for the Toy Roof based on a minimum spend. Groups with smaller numbers are welcome to come to the Toy Roof on a first come first serve basis however we will not be able to reserve a table.

Whilst we have a walk-in policy it is subject to availability. We strongly advise reservations in advance however they may be subject to a minimum spend requirement.

  • Random ID checks might be conducted, over 18s only
  • Unruly and intoxicated behaviour will result into refusal of admission
  • Admission always on receptions discretion

'The Bar' is a fitting venue for a former courthouse, located just off the lobby; this trendy lounge is another quirky gem within the hotel.

Featuring the original prison cell blocks as cosy VIP rooms, The Bar is popular for both evening drinks or social gatherings and as a casual meeting spot through-out the day.

The three original holding cells are used for private use and can host up to 8 people. These can be booked in advance, or are available on a first come first serve basis.

On the menu are a number of legal-themed signature cocktails along with the popular classics; a wide range of international beers, spirits and a comprehensive wine-list. Delicious bar snacks and light bites are also available during serving hours.
